Data Deletion Instructions for Joy Prize Draw

Joy Prize Draw stores all data locally on your device. To delete your data, follow the instructions below based on your platform.
Android
- Delete within the App: Open the app, go to Settings or each section (Prizes, Participants, History), and use the delete option to remove individual items or clear all data.
- Clear app data: Go to your device's Settings > Apps > Joy Prize Draw > Storage > Clear Data. This will remove all app data including settings, lists, and history.
- Uninstall the App: Uninstalling the app will remove all associated data from your device.
iOS
- Delete within the App: Open the app, go to Settings or each section (Prizes, Participants, History), and use the delete option to remove individual items or clear all data.
- Offload or Delete the App: Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage > Joy Prize Draw. Choose "Offload App" to keep documents but remove the app, or "Delete App" to remove all data.
Windows / macOS / Linux
- Delete within the App: Open the app, go to Settings or each section (Prizes, Participants, History), and use the delete option to remove individual items or clear all data.
- Clear app data: Navigate to your system's app data folder and delete the Joy Prize Draw data directory. On Windows, this is typically in
%APPDATA%\Joy Prize Draw. On macOS, it is in~/Library/Application Support/Joy Prize Draw. On Linux, it is in~/.local/share/Joy Prize Draw. - Uninstall the App: Using your system's app removal tool will remove the application and its data files.
Note About Image Data
If you attached images to items or participants, these images are stored in the app's local storage. Deleting the app or clearing app data will also remove these images. If you want to keep the images, back them up before deleting.
Important: Once data is deleted from the app, it cannot be recovered. Please ensure you have exported any important data you wish to keep before clearing.
Data That May Persist After Deletion
- If you exported or shared your history using the app's share feature, copies may exist in the destination app or service you used (for example, email, cloud storage, or messaging apps).
- App backups stored in your device's cloud backup (for example, Google Drive or iCloud) may retain app data. To fully remove data, you may need to also clear those backups.
